Control your shade using Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Samsung SmartThings. Pairing your GE Smart Shade requires connection to a Matter Thread router device and smart assistant app downloaded onto your smart phone.

Open your Smart Assistant app - Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Samsung SmartThings.
Enter pairing mode: On the shade remote - press P1 (shade will jog), Down (shade will jog), Up (shade will jog).
Follow the new device setup instructions on your Smart Assistant app.
Scan the Matter Setup Code on the shade, then follow the instructions to add to your smart home.
After successful pairing, the LED light on the Smart Shade will remain lit for 10 seconds and then turn off.
