GE Smart Shades Charging Your Smart Shade

Your Smart Shade uses a rechargeable battery that should last about 6 months under normal use before needing to be recharged.
NOTE: Smart Shades will have a partial charge when they arrive and should be charged to full before initial use.
- Place the magnetic end of the charger on the shade bracket near the USB Port.
- Plug your USB charger into a nearby outlet or use a portable charger with your cable. Let the shade charge for at least 6 hours.
NOTE: There are no batteries to replace.

Always on: Fully charged
